Cherry Chocolate Smoothie

Okay, boys and girls... are you ready to have your world ROCKED!!!????  If you love the flavor sensation that's sweeping the nation (okay, my apartment) of cherry and chocolate!!!  AND you're looking to shed some of those extra pounds, go no further than this blog:


This smoothie is absolutely delicious, low cal and AWESOME for summertime.  I stole this from The Biggest Loser Cookbook.  Enjoy!!!  :)


3/4 cup frozen unsweetended sweet cherries (not thawed)
1/2 cup sugar-free, fat-free vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup fat-free milk
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
4 ice cubes
1 tsp honey (optional)

Throw all of this goodness in a blender and blend on high speed (or ice-crush setting) for 30-60 seconds or until smooth.  Pour it into a glass and vuay-ol-ay!  You've got a DELICIOUS smoothie-- fo reals!!  You can even add a little whey protein powder if you'd like!

Makes 1- 12 ounce serving.

33 g carbs
1 g fat
4 mg cholestrol
4 g fiber
97 mg sodium

P.S.  It definitely makes up for the Apple Maple Bacon cupcakes I made for the Sweet Lovin Man's birthday, right?  (Sweet Lovin' Man?  Sweet Friendin' Man? Sweet Friend of Mine?  Any Man of Mine?  Sweet Child of Mine?  Boy Named Sue? I don't know-- changing the name is still a work in progress)
